VHII set - The Loner - Video
« on: September 08, 2007, 09:47:27 AM »
Was thought as a trial of recording with my webcam (don't have a camcorder).

VHIIs in a Singlecut SE. Usual setup, but I boosted the Bogner Shiva with an Xotic RC Booster, which is very transparent and musical.

Liked the result, which is why I uploaded it to Youtube, here it is:

But your guitar face around 3:50 is really scary :P

Yeah I agree, I was also ROTFL when i watched it the first time. The facial expressions make up for the sloppy playing here and there

That's almost convinced me that I want a set of VHIIs in a LP or similar :)

Great tone :)

Thanks for all the comments! :P

The VHIIs are very clear pickups, I always love their clarity when I hear them recorded. While playing I usually wish though they had a bit more of the dirt of the BlackDogs.

That RC Booster is a lot of fun, have a good basic tone and you can shape all kinds of different sounds once this thing's between guitar and amp, not sure what it is but somehow all sounds better with it being on.

damn, this thing sounds really chunky
i thought vhII was trebly and thin like eddie's tone
it's almost hypnotic, i couldn't close the window before playing all the video twice :o
