hurricane > any skinny guitar
i think no one here will recognize this brand, cause apparently they were sold in late 80's and early 90's only in south america and asia, and i saw some on spanish websites, so everyone will tell you to keep the ESP
if it was a well known copy like burny or edwards, everyone would recommend it
moridaira (morris) made guitars for fender japan, hs anderson and bill lawrence and endorsed Marty Friedman and Jason Becker for a long time in the 80's
they used high quality and HEAVY mahogany and only gotoh hardware
definitely NOT cheap guitars, as the Hurricane i own and the other i played beat all the Gibson Studios i've tried (i never played a standard or custom, so i can't compare)
my bandmate just bought a brand new gibson vintage mahogany and the first thing he said when i asked about the gibson was "my hurricane is way better than it and a lot more comfortable"
the stock bridge pickup is shitety and bright, but the neck pickup is fat, clear and powerful (not in a BK way, but great for a stock pickup)
so the question should be "SKINNY GUITAR TONE vs TRUE LES PAUL SOUND"
