Anyone seen these before? My new, second hand, strat came with them and I loves them.

Here they be

Question though, will these be a straight swap for my MIM tele tuners? Or will some drilling be needed? I can't seem to find any info online, and i really $%&#ing hate google now.

i really like them too.

they need a 10mm hole which is fairly common to more modern tuners but i am not completely sure whats on the mex tele's. i have taken a few apart but cant really remember removing tuners

take a tuner of the tele and measure the post!

Awww do I have to? Hate removing strings just to stick them back on.

I'll have a measure when I get my new pickups.

Which model is your MIM Tele?

If it has vintage-style tuners (like the Classic series) you'll need to enlarge the holes right through the headstock. Or get a different type of locking tuner, like Gotohs.

If it has modern cast/sealed tuners (like the Standard series) it should be a straight swap, but you will have to drill holes for the Planet Waves' retaining screws.

Thanks chaps. I didn't even notice the PW ones had an extra screw into the head-stock.

Really are a snazzy piece of kit, never even heard of them before.

I think they're a D'Addario spin off company. I've got there chord computer and I'm well impressed (with exception of the high pitched squel when you turn the back light on)

I got them on my Warmoth SG and they are:

1. Really easy to install;

2. Have an awesome ratio 18:1.

3. Really easy to use.

4. Stay in tune really well.
