I think that must count as an insult. 
I doubt any guitar player would take it as an insult to be likened to Gary Moore. To clarify, it's more the hair and the expression on his face rather than the face itself.
Playing-wise, undoubtedly. But you can't compare playing from a
photo, which is, after all, what we're talking about. Lighten up man, it was a joke. :P
