^ Great photos! Was that camera fixed to something and remotely operated?
I dont have any amusing pictures of me in normal life (fortunately no one I know becomes an amature photographer on nights out!). Just a few geeky ones from around my graduation where me ma went camera-happy. This is one of me, a good mate to the left (also a guitarist) and old my astrophysics prof to the right. The ridicuous dorky smile is a mix of 'thank god thats over' and 'Prof Zilstra is one of the funniest people alive'. Ians pedo-smile is permanent and inexplicable.Edit. I hate ties.Edit 2: Name in sig.

(what? im a purist! no freaking flash! F/1.8 or F/1.4! F/1.0 if you can afford it!)

Im guess the flash is there because it is such a wide angle lens that it might need more light than was actually available. im not that sure.theres some other snaps of that show from the other side of the stage. being at the front with a camera is a bad plan. if you look REALLY close at the middle photo, right at the bottom under the dudes arm is a Boss tuner. yes, everyone ran right across my tuner, wah pedal and noise suppressor. dammit! after that i moved them to the foot of the cabs i was using. which means i didnt look cool while using the wah... as usual... epic failYeah looking at it again its a very wide angle lens so it gave the impression of being higher than it probably was. I use flash at gigs but only as a fill, it gives some good effects. You still end up shooting at around 1/15 wide open, which with my kit is 2.8.
and, last but not least, me being very true-norwegian-black-metal oriented11 and 13 years ago. time flies, s**t.
I must admit, I picture you as the girl in your avatar (who is she, by the way?). These beardy pictures have come as a bit of a shock...
