I'm still convinced they should've put statues of us on those pedestals.. it would've made the abbey a LOT more interesting :D

I'm doing alright. finally in a band again and recording, the rest is... meh :P hehe

What is that Jonathon? Kinda looks like a Strat with Royal Elektra holes, but not exactly.

Reminds me of the carved-up Strat Russ Ballard from Argent used to play!

It was a rebuild I did about 10+ years ago
the body was from a 1979 Fender strat and it was so heavy it was unusable - so I thought - lighten it by drilling holes through it .
Was still heavy even with all the holes. Sounded good though!




 I did receive an email from Kevin Chilcott from Royal Guitars accusing me of stealing his idea , although I pointed out that my inspiration was from Russ Ballard from Argent (who also wrote lots of songs for other people like Kiss, Rainbow etc)
I had a picture from Kerrang in the mid 1980s of him with his guitar and that was what I had copied
Kev said that was his inspiration too.

I was bought an album by my step father for Xmas 1972 called 20 Dynamic Hits (on K-Tel) and Argent were on there along with Deep Purple , Redbone , Sly and The Family Stone etc

I was only 7 but it was my first album and I loved the rock stuff that was on that album
Argent's Hold your head up and Deep Purple's Fireball were my favourites
Other than that I was into T Rex, Slade, Mud, Sweet, Suzi Quattro etc at the time
