in eddie's defence, it's possible that his monitor mix is just drums and guitar.

and anyway, in his opinion it's everyone ELSE that's out of tune!!

LOL

I did speak with eddie on occasion, he lives not far from where i live, and hes a definately OK guy. Its probably like they say, the show must go on.

Have you ever had a jam with him or dare to ask?  8)

Nope, would you have? That guy is like 3 meters tall and he can play half a neck without moving his hands!

We just talked a bit about the band and old guitars, he seemed to have a bit of a guitar fetish too so....

Wow sounds cool, I'd love to meet him. Yes I'd have asked for a jam! Just to have him play a guitar I own would leave me gobsmacked! You could tell him about bare knuckles!!

I was just guessing based on how tall he looks next to other band members.  I know Mike Anthony's really short, about my height, and Alex, Sammy and Roth are all taller than Ed.

And whenever you see a picture of Ed with a Strat, the body looks huge on him.

Now he is tall.  I have no idea how tall though, too tough for me to guess that one.

After Whitesnake and the Restless Heart/Starkers In Tokyo albums he has focused on painting and by all accounts is quite successful.

He's still in contact with David Coverdale and he does guest with Whitesnake when the play in Holland but sadly no more than a song or two.

I'm a big Vandenberg fan - I'm obsessed with his original Peavey guitars as well.
