Oh my god...

edit: lol my guess is that it looks like he was given the wrong guitar as it's not in the right tuning.

edit 2: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=tUEXAnOTfcg

this one sounds awesome and is from the same concert!

Dear me, Jump sounded HORRIBLE!!!

Surely he can hear it's not in tune with the rest of the band FFS.

Here's a better song that's played right... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9iOt2Xr61sM

Heard on the radio that his guitar was in tune and that the synthesizer was off thus making his guitar sound off.

god beware, on my last gig I did some hefty behind the nut bends on my tele, and didn't realise my strings jumped out of the string tree on the headstock, so high b and e were totally out of tune.

I had the feeling it added an interesting harmonic touch to my chords, but didn't bother and finished the song on 4 strings only, including the solo, which was kind of fun actually.

There are lots of other new VH clips on YouTube and they're sounding pretty good, for the most part.

And Roth is singing as well as I've ever heard him (which is... quite badly really, but he was always more of a showman than a singer).

Good to see them looking fit and healthy, anyway.

I mean come on, you would have stopped, wouldn't you? God couldn't have made those two keys work together, so why did Van Halen even try?

in eddie's defence, it's possible that his monitor mix is just drums and guitar.

and anyway, in his opinion it's everyone ELSE that's out of tune!!
