hard to tell on you tube....but does seem a versatile amp
-
saw that vid sounds great. want to hear one in the flesh !
-
Sounds good to me
-
Love it!Very, very good! His vid with the Einstein and his AGL are not as good. That Schmidt sounds really nice!I want one.. 8)i guess it's expensive like all Diezel's,though.. :?
-
I just OD'd on Diezel and Tokai SG GAS, thanks a lot, Hunter.
-
this does sound good!
almost as good as a krank...........
nah but seriously it sounds damn fine. how do the Diezel's compare to something like Bogners? not that ive played either, but im tempted to play an Uberschall if i can find one. Diezels always look a complex for me.
-
Sounds tasty....
-
Sounds nice but the overdrive sounds a bit "hifi" if that means anything to anyone
-
i haven't listened to the whole clip yet, but what i've heard so far sounds pretty nice.

I was about to say... it sounds like... a ... youtube vid!?!??!?!?
-

I know what you mean, that is Diezel ... it disturbed me on my Einstein, but the Schmidt reminds me a lot of a :13 on the crunch tones and has a nice grittiness on the highgain which the Eini didn't have.
-
Sounds pretty good to me :) but I'd be more interested in a Herbert.

Yes,i remember your Einstein clips and ,indeed, i found the overdrive to be too much "processed" or "hifi"sounding (it was compared to the mighty Shiva, though ! 8)) but the Schmidt seems different. We'll see...

listened to it all now, i think it maybe had a bit too much gain on the crunch channel? hard to tell when someone is dialling it in, but i prefer my crunch channel to start off more or less clean, then get heavier from there. i love having a ton of gain available for when i need it, but not if that's the only tone available.
-
sounded really nice and juicy
Hunter - what amp are you using on the Scorpions Big City Nights video?

Dude, it's got 3 Channels. There are other vids which show the amazing cleans too. :O)

Try a VH4 :)

Axe FX into Verve 12MA

Sounds incredible!

i have. :D it's a very nice amp, very dear though and wasn't too fussed on the cleans.
-
Yeah not cheap.
Not everyones amp of course, no amp ever is!
-
It's a Diezel, it's hardly going to suck  I've played a Herbert next to a VH4 but I'd love to do it again with a Schmidt too.

yeah, i mean i liked it a lot, but just not enough to buy one. One of those amps where if I had unlimited funds, or had a job in music so I could justify it or claim back VAT etc., I'd definitely get one, but not at the moment. :)
-
Sounds great and it's not a brand I would normally consider :P
-
Is it just me or is there FAR too much bass?
-
Sounds lovely!
But all Diezels do their 'thing' very very well!!
If i didn't have my Egnater, i'd be all over a VH4 :D
