Jay,

I have a luthier in town who does absolutely fabulous work, set-ups and refinishing. I purhcased all the parts seperately to have a guitar just the way I wanted. I found an original maple '82 Charvel strathead neck, had it completely refinished and refretted with Dunlop 6000 frets. I had a solid one piece alder strat body made and painted in black nitro finish. Original Floyd rose with titanium blocks, reverse zebra Nailbomb calibrated set + all the electronics. My other guitar is a Wayne, I had a new neck made for that one and the Cold Sweat and Trilogy pickups are going on that one as soon as the new one is finished.

Sweet deal man! Sounds like it's gonna be an awesome gtr...I would love to get my hands on an eary 80s neck...How much of a difference to tone does tha titanium block make? That's an interesting concept...I was thinking about swapping out the saddles on my Floyds with the Graphtech saddles. They are supposed to be better then the originals. They are cheaper then Floyd replacements as well...Anyways, looking forward to seeing pics of the gtrs in the future :)

I'm just hearing this for the first time, years later.

Amazing tone, amazing song, amazing player.

I'm not worthy!

I must ask, I have a 1969 Marshall Major... fairly clean amp and I really gotta boost the input to get gain but that melts tubes.  I have thought about a Soldano Supercharger for a long time now, and was curious how it drives a fairly clean amp.... pedals that sound good with other amps have not liked the Major at all so far, only thing that does is the forementioned tube melting tactic.

PS: I reported your post for being too damned good! (jk)
