sohuld I go for the AIV? Slash uses AIIs doesnt he, but Im guessing the AIVs will be more versatile?

I had my AII Stormy Mondays converted to AIV to 'tighten' the bass up a bit. You lose just a touch of sweetness at the top end ( due to that also becoming a bit more 'focused' ) - but they
still sounded sweet and a slightly 'saggy' ; especially for 'Rock' pickups. The Slash tone itself always sounding what I would call 'sweet and saggy' - so It's no bad thing ! For me then, the AIV Stormy Mondays where more versatile, although I genuinely love the sound of both types of magnet in that pickup.
