Author Topic: Where to buy 3DPDT switches from? (Read 4735 times)

Hey guys.

I've started experiencing problems with my wah pedal and the guy that modified it for me has recommended that the 1st thing I try is a new switch before I send it back to him so he can check it out.

The current switch in the wah has 9 contacts on the bottom and is a 3dpdt switch (?) Does anyone know where I can buy these switches from?

I've checked Allparts, WD Music Products and Maplins and they don't appear to have them :?

Thanx for any info anyone can offer.

3pdt= 3 pole double throw
i'm assuming your wah has an in-use LED? otherwise, you'll only need a DPDT swich (double pole, double throw) which are easier to come by.

if you need the 3pdt, i think i've seen a few being sold new on ebay. good luck.....

Hi Steve :)

My Wah doesn't have an LED, it has True Bypass, and external Volume and 'Q'control (neither of which need the 3PDT I assume).

The current switch has 9 terminals on the bottom, so i was told to just look for a switch that had the 9 terminals on the bottom and to use that :)

Whether this si correct or not, I don't know :roll: :?
