The Stockholm is a versatile pickup, but it is certainly more contemporary sounding than the Supermassive. I imagine you would both be happy with either.
Loic, there would be no issues wiring it for a single volume/single tone layout.

I need a Humbucker sized pickup, so I think I'll go for the Stockholm.
Just to compare, how the Mississippi Queen would be different ?
As I can see on BK website that M. Bellamy's picture is pointing to them ... (maybe the Stockholm didn't exist at this time)
(they seem to sound more chimery and less dark)

The MQ's have less mids and bass and more treble. And they sound more vintage-flavoured to me. The Stockholm is fatter and more modern sounding.
