Bare Knuckle Bridge and Seymour duncan neck or ?
« on: September 05, 2011, 10:14:06 PM »
I have a set of seymour duncan SH6 bridge and SH4 neck on my guitar. I am changing the bridge with a Miracle Man  :P but will keep the SH4 Neck pickup because of its tonality.

Do I need to change the pots or capacitors value at all? Is there any adjustment that I need to make to the components?

It is a 5 way lever switch. 1 tone 1 volume.

Or can anyone suggest a BK neck pickup which will match the SH4 type of tone?

nope you dont need to change anything other than the bridge pickup everything else will function fine with it and the duncan

I already installed the Miracle Man..Awesome pickup! A bit late to get a calibrated set. but the Seymour Duncan SH4 does not sound as if it matches the tone of the MM. I have a mahogany Ibanez.

I mainly play Iron Maiden, Machine Head, In Flames type of music.

Any suggestion of a neck pickup (I know u cannot have it all in one neck pup)
