I guess I should just get the Warpig for my SG

Ive just had A5 pigs fitted in my sg special.
Best high output pups ive ever had ,they are massively heavy in the lows and mids but also perfectly clear under massive amounts of fuzz.... perfect for the references you describe.
In the run up to buying the pigs i had heard they could sound muddy because of the huge bass content but the lows are as hard as nails and surprisingly tight being in the sg.
havent heard early sabbath out of them yet as they have a more modern edge...but my vee with mules in takes care of the more vintage sounds. 8) :lol:

I've just chucked an A5 Piggie in my SG, and I must say it rips.

I was saying i could'nt get early sabbath out of the piglets....well i just did! turned up the crunch control on my mk2 swollen pickle and voila...warpigs,hand of doom etc etc turn the control down again and you've got sweet leaf.

As you guys predicted...I love the A5 Warpig in my SG. I actually ordered another one for my other SG last month. This pickups works so well with my rig. Fat leads, grindy rhythm, bassy but clear. It's so thick, yet so alive. I'm so mad I didn't do it sooner. Now, I need to match some Neck PU's to these. I'm thinking about trying a Stockholm.
