Hey everyone, I need some help wiring up my BlackHawks.  Basically, I'd like to wire them according to this diagram:

https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/downloads/schematics/general/humbuckers/2_hum__ibanez_style_5_way_switch__1vol_1tone_.pdf

But with a super switch rather than the cheap "import" style switch.

Thanks!

There are a bunch of wiring diagrams here:

I am mid project with an Ibanez HH guitar to do same with a Superswitch. I want to avoid the magnet turning the original wiring required too.
Got a few guitars - old to new and Boogie kit.
BKPS: Rebel Yell, Holydiver

Love old valve amps... But then I am biased!

I ended up using this diagram & everything works perfectly.  I just re-labeled the DiMarzio wiring to match the BKP colors.  You also shouldn't have to flip the neck pickup for correct IBZ wiring:

This wiring scheme may well work in-phase, however the only way to have the inner coils of the bridge and neck working together AND hum cancel is to reverse one or other of the magnets.

EDIT.. Although, if you have Blackhawks, the coils are symmetrical, so which coil you make the 'inner' is fairly irrelevant, so you can simply flip the orientation of the neck pickup around and reverse some of the wiring to give you access to the polarity-correct coils for those positions.

Instead of starting a new thread I'm going to hijack this one as it's kind of related.

Wiring the schematic like this: https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/downloads/schematics/general/humbuckers/2_hum__ibanez_style_5_way_switch__1vol_1tone_.pdf

Can I solder the black and bare wires of the bridge and red and bare of the neck pickup to the case of the switch (instead of the back of the pot)? I guess it shouldn't matter as the case of the switch is grounded to the pot case anyways. I just don't to have weird ground loops.

Thanks.

Could you please elaborate on which wires would need to be reversed if the neck pickup were flipped?  Currently, I have them wired exactly like the diagram above, with both pickups' wiring exiting toward the bridge.  I recently read that the "standard" orientation for the neck pickup is to have the wiring exit toward the neck, so I'm guessing that it's already technically flipped?
