Wiring mistake?

Hi to everyone. I just swapped the old neck pup of my single cut with a BKP The Mule. I have 1 vol, 1 tone, 1 three-way miniswitch series/coil tap/parallel for the neck pup, and 1 two-way miniswitch series/coil tap. In the neck position, everything works fine: series, single and parallel modes all sounds fine. But, when I swap to middle position, the sound is too crispy and edgy than before.
For the neck mini-switch, I followed this diagram:

The red cable is soldered in the pin with the red cable from the selector, and black cable goes to ground on the tone pot. This is exactly as it was before pup swapping.

If I won't receive any suggestion by thos evening, I think I willl try to swap the positives.

Just tried to flip the magnet inside. Tomorrow I'll check the wires, now I'm tired.

Soldered all the wires correctly. Doesn't sound soo different, it's just a little more smooth and less edgy. I undervalued the importance of pup adjustement. Setting up the pup and screws height brought very good results.
