Welcome back Sam!   :D  The guitar looks pretty cool.  I like blue-green guitars.  And I'm glad to see that you're exploring the idea of a second pickup.

You know, one point in your favour is that the more pickups a guitar has, the more it costs to replace them.  :?

Have just returned from a week's holiday - great to see you back Sam and with a new guitar.

I see the 1 verses 2 pickup debate still rages. I think if a guitarist is happy with his sound it doesn't matter how many pickups he has. One of my favourite guitarists is Jeff Beck who has his own signature strat (3 pups obviously) but who got some amazing sounds out of his single pickup fender Esquire (which he gave to Seymour Duncan and which Fender has now produced 150 tribute 'relic' copies at around £9,000 each. Jeff used to turn the tone control (not the volume control) with his little finger whilst playing a note and it used to produce a weird wah wah effect. Here's the link to the one they have at Mansons in Exeter -  http://www.mansons.co.uk/news.cfm?id=46&ref=rightmenu&CFID=923943&CFTOKEN=6384  - I've looked at it a few times but it's a tad expensive for me   )

I see your posts counter is back on senna pods again  8)

P.S. Good luck with your gig on the 2nd September

Glad to hear it Sam!

I'm fine thanks mate! I've just had a few days in Dorset with my new woman, who is a music teacher!

Next week I'm off to Germany for 'The Cannonball Bike Run' as the event photographer!

I've started a thread in The Dressing Room regarding it.
