That guitar is pure sex!

How did you come up with that neck joint? It's very original and not like any that i have ever seen!

I think the Aria PE series have the same joint if I rremember correctly.

You are quite correct there Mr Ninja
The Aria PE was years ahead in a lot of ways
I have fond memories of some of that series
It's one of the reasons that I recommend it to players looking for a Les paul copy on a budget

And it's neck joint certainly inspired my design ideas for my own versions

They are very nice guitars, i've got an original (80's i've been told) PE-R60, bought it about a year ago, it plays and sounds amaizng considering that i paid under £200 for it. Despite the neck joint being almost the same, yours looks much neater than my Aria Pro 2.

i'm nearly done with my scribling of the specs for my V and i'll shoot you a PM one of these days.. the only thing that i am unsure about is the inlay(s) .. i dont know what would go well with the spider-web pickups :S

naw, too intricate, which in turn makes it expencive.

i was thinking of an hourglass on the 12th fret, like the black widow one

That makes me idea useless then - I was gonna say sharkfin inlay-shaped spider webs, then again that'd maybe make the guitar have too much web on it

my bad

Well it still looks awesome!

Joe - you are quite right to say  that it isn't something that you see much of in guitars these days.

In some ways there are too many copies that just slavishly recreate what was done 50+ years ago, without looking to see what can be updated and improved upon.

What I do with my guitars is kind of an "updated classic " concept - allowing players to chose to mix classic looks with their preferred features and technical specs. We are also happy to build completely new designs as well.

I tend to adopt all the cool and innovative ideas that I see and like when building for myself.

I thought about the black widow hourglass shape
Lita Ford had that on her black Warlock guitar
Looked good!
