I'm a firm believer that single coils work/sound best in neck positions IMO - of course.

I have an MQ neck with an Alnico Warpig and it sounds great.  You could always see if Tim can make you a Pig 90 in an MQ size.

Can yyou educate me on the difference between a regular pig and a pig 90 MQ sized?
And how well would this fit on a super strat body 7 string?

When Tim did my CPig & MQ set he wound the MQ to balance with the CPig. It's epic. A huge sound that complements the CPig perfectly IMO.
When you´re racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just pies.

Just talked to tim, he recommends the CS 7 neck ala Chris Broderick of Megadeth.
The pig90 isn't available in 7 string. :(

I would guess thats because Tim doesn't offer covers on 7 strings, and the pig90 needs a cover?

Probably more that he can't get bobbins and backing plates to make 7 string P90s.
