Watermark them with your name perhaps.

Don't hold me to this but I think you are able to put up a copyright purely by placing the symbol alongside your name.

You wouldn't have any help with fees regarding litigious actions against copyright theft, though.

I'd recommend looking it up in a law textbook for the basis of the law regarding international intellectual property.
I too use chicken as a measurement.

i too thought that signing and maybe dating them might be enough... but i would think somebody could easily just use their computer to erase your name from it and sign their own.

You could either post the designs to yourself with a registered or recorded delivery and then keep the package sealed just in case you need to prove ownership.Or you could lodge them in a Solicitors office. The former would be the easiest and cheapest. It is what I used to do to copyright songs when I used to send demos out.
