The Gotohs are great for things like SGs, because they don't add any extra weight at the headstock compared with regular tuners.

No, the adjustable height ones are called HAPM (and you can also get locking ones, HAPM MG).  You can tell them because they have two holes in the back of each tuner.

Cheers, PQ - the second link is to the Gotoh catalogue showing the HAP models.

They're still a bugger to find in the UK though.

Gotcha.  And to correct my previous post, HAP are the height adjustable posts, HAPM are the locking versions, as of course you realised!  :oops:
