sort of semi related to this threads resurrection. I tried a number of Dave's guitars yesterday and can confirm that the PRS Modern Eagle is simply stunning in all areas. Sooo easy to play (and I'm not much of a player), a nice weight and well balanced, great finish, awesome neck and above all it just sounds perfect - the coil split is also very good indeed.How about a swap Dave :P

Ian, I can't believe you'd swap an Esquire for a PRS, it would be like swapping a Shelby Mustang or an AC Cobra for a Lexus :(

True Phil, very true!It's the AC Cobra vs Lexus bit I was objecting to. There's nothing mass produced and mainstream about a Modern Eagle. They probably made less than 800 of them...
