Is it really worth making a Standard Crybaby true bypass?

Hi - Is it really worth making a Standard Crybaby true bypass? Do they really suck lots of tone or do you need to Eric Johnson to notice it?

Any experience or advice would be great on this subject,

No, you don't have to be Eric Johnson to notice it. It's pretty obvious the difference when I have my crybaby from hell in the chain. I assume the bypass on the standard crybaby will be the same or worse than the Dime wah. I always have it on my board so I stopped caring though.

yes it is worth doing. also try swapping out some of the resistors to improve the sweep.. i got rid of the strange muffle sound mine had when it went even slightly heel.  I took out the buffer too, which seems to have dropped the volume slightly.

If you use "offboard wiring 5" with the 3PDT switch you can install an LED to show when the wah is on and off.

depends on the quality of the rest of your signal chain (including leads), but yeah, it's noticeable.

Problem I got is I suck with a soldering iron. Anyone recommend someone, in the UK I could send my pedal to make it True Bypass?
