This particular one that is for sale is a honey/natural spruce top with quilted back and sides, it does look very nice and is a non trem model, the price is $799 AUD which is about what I would have to pay for a Epi JP or Iby AF75, and they would both be second hand! I can imagine that my set of Stormys (A2)would sound great in it and pots and caps are at hand, after years of solid bodys a 17 incher we feel like a double bass!

That sounds excellent Kevin ! You are obviously prepared for 'optimisation'  too.  :)

It does " Feel like a double bass"  - but I love the way that ( because of that ) there is NO doubt that you are gettin' down to JAZZ business  8) - when you put it on your knee .  The Stormy IIs do sound excellent too - a great match . Please post photos of the finished product , I am really looking forward to seeing that beauty !

Nice one ... :D

I've tried out quite a few Ibanez Artcore guitars (and owned an AS73) as they are very good value for money.
Cant say anything for the others as i've not had experience with them, but the artcore's are definately worth a try.
FOR SALE!
