Yeah - just need to take some good photos of it first. Will pobably whack it on there in the next few days.

Cheers all for the messages - it's srangely liberating to play a guitar that doesn't cost a lot of money!

I'd have thought it was liberating playing a relic guitar anyway, despite the cost?  It's not as if it matters if you ding it.

Ian, congrats on the Tele.  if it's any consolation, i personally think the average tele would beat the hell out of the average strat! :)  although of course there are exceptions.   i own a tele, and not a strat, and i intend it to stay that way

True but I was coming more from the point of view that the cost of the strat massively outweighed my talent. The baja has narrowed that gap a bit!

If we had to play guitars of cost/quality proportional to our talent, I would be forced to have one of these.  :|

Welcome to the Baja owners club! I play mine more than any other guitar I own, love the chunky neck  8)

Cheers!. I used to like thin necks, vintage frets and 7.25 radius. I now like chunky necks, big frets and 9.5 radius. Perhaps I'll change the frets to 6105s when they need doing (a few years at least!).

I played for a few hours last night and am happy so far - the neck pickup is very stratty sounding. A litte more twangy but stratty in nature. Favourite tones so afr are bridge on it's own and one position back from the neck (with and without the S1 engaged).

So far so good.

It's weird, although I've always preferred chunky necks the Baja's the only guitar I've owned where it was just too big, I didn't get on with it at all.
