50 marshall watts works out ok at home. my 2204 is totally ok there, but it will gig medium size venues too.

I wonder if I buy either one of those amps could I mod them further to soup them up a little more. What do you guys think.




I have to admit I'm not entirely convinced of the wisdom of buying a brand new amp with the immediate intention of modifying it.

Although we buy new guitars with every intention of putting BKPs in right away

I think the conclusion to this is I am going to wait on buying something until I get some samples of what the Chupacabra 50 by Ceriatone sounds like. I have been on a number of forums and everyone that owns one loves it.

If the Chupacabra is not the one than its back between Splawn and Granger.
