The clips are there so you can make your decision. Choose the one you prefer!

If you want to go for the Painkiller bridge, the matching neck pickup provides a very defined and woody tone not that dissimilar to the VHII but a lot hotter. With that said, it is brighter and hollower than the Cold Sweat you didn't enjoy before, so I stand by my recommendation of the Aftermath neck.
I still think you should choose the Aftermath bridge over the Painkiller, but that is up to you.

Based on the original post I can recommend the Black Dog, especially for such low tunings. It works very well in baritones and it is plenty tight. No idea what problems Eric had with his. I also find the top end very good for single note runs, it has a clarity to it that is very PAF-ish, for lack of a better word.

Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

Sounds good! so BD it is (:
Thank you all for your answers!

Just another question (which I asked earlier) to master Nolly:
"Shouldnt the VHII be a brighter pickup than the Mule? It sounds brighter in  the clips. I like the VHII's shiny highs but sounds like the mule sounds sweeter and warmer in the lows.
Why the VHII  would be a better choice?"

The VHII has more body to the midrange, but a brighter top end. The Mule has a very balanced midrange, with a rounder/warmer low end. The top end is bright, but rolls off before the VHII. The VHII's low end response is a lot tighter/more direct.
While the difference in DC resistance isn't that large, the VHII's AV magnet pushes a lot harder than the Mule's AIV. The result is that the Mule is a more open/uncompressed sound which works very nicely for clean and dynamic mid-gain tones, but isn't as fluid as the VHII when it comes to high gain sounds. (The VHII is still not a compressed pickup though, just in comparison to the Mule).

I recommended the VHII over the Mule because in a guitar like yours, I think you will find the VHII's midrange warmth enjoyable, while the clearer low end should prevent things getting muddy given how far you downtune.
