Another "What should I get?" post

I have an Ibanez S7420 7-string that and would like to upgrade the pickups. Based on all the good things I've heard about Bare Knuckle, I'm leaning heavily towards a pair of 'em. My other 2 guitars are Strats. I like the single coils for chords and use the neck pickup (an SD Hot Rails) in one for lead, and the middle and neck pickups (wired to act as a humbucker) for lead in the other one. I always use either a distortion or fuzz and a heavily overdriven amp for what I'd call a psychedelic/acid rock sound (not a retro thing - more up to date) and want something similar for my Ibanez.

Check out the attached file for pickup combinations available with the 5 position selector. What pickups would be a good choice for what I've described? I was leaning towards the Aftermath, based on what I'd read, but now I'm having second thoughts.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The aftermath works amazingly well in this wiring setup its how i had it wired in

I'm not 100% sure on it for your described sound though unless you can provide clips.

As a follow-up to my earlier posts, here's an example of the sound I'd like to get: Enslaved - Havenless. Specifically, the way the guitar sounds at the very beginning. Which pickup would come closest to that?

Hmm i think the aftermath could do this but i wouldnt say it was ideal.

I think something a bit brighter like a cold sweat would work well for it but it may not be grindy enough.

A miracle man would fill in the grind but also add a good chunk of lows & low mids too also being a bit higher output but i doubt the output would be an issue.

I'm also leaning toward the Aftermath. Several people have said this should give me the sound I want.
