Although Weber do a wide variety of speakers they are better known (in my view) for their "American style" speakers.
I've Webers in a couple of my amps, and installed them in several other amps, with very good results. (I'm into American amps, well Fender.....)
Unfortunately Weber speakers aren't cheap this side of the pond. I'm not a great fan of the "RI" Jensens, so if you want an American style speaker at reasonable pricing you are somewhat limited to Eminence.
There is mucho interest in vintage British amps in the States and hence the interest in making British-style speakers.
WGS seem to make some interesting speakers, but the only EU importer (Tube Town) only seems to stock the British style speakers from the WGS range, which is a shame as it would be nice to have some more options for American style speakers.
Scumbacks are made by Weber.
We use Tayden speakers in our amps, but these are British-style speakers.
yeah i emailed weber the other day, and they're pretty much too dear this side of the pond. Not saying they're not good speakers or anything like that, but i can get good (as good as weber? No idea  ) speakers from other companies for half as much. Which is a shame.
Those WGS aren't exactly cheap on tubetown either... haven't tried them either, but i know on the more american-orientated forums they seemed to have the rep of "good value", while the tubetown prices are no cheaper than you can get eminence, celestion and taydens for...
