Here's one that Brian made earlier.
This was probably a good day in the office for me
We did some work for The Brian May band and Brian's tech had the red special with him (Whoo Hoo!)
I was also an extra in the I want to break free video - no prizes for spotting me though....a miner role

We are among greatness here......we're not worthy, we're not worthy!

It was an odd moment - luckily i had the camera in the workshop.
I felt compelled to play "Tie your mother down"
It was an interesting guitar- I didn't really like it but was in huge reverence of it.
Brian is the reason I got into guitars and also into making them - kind of an interesting sense of closure getting to play the red special

I think it's amazing how you and other guitar makers can turn a block of wood into a great guitar. I can do some customizing but I would love to learn how to build an actual guitar from scratch.

C'mon MM - don't quote me on that .
It's not like i sexed up a WMD report that we went to war over....

So ok - it's true about the Cold Sweat
But I deny the Ace Frehley bit (even as an ex Kiss fanatic)
And I have made guitars for Kiss tribute bands

The George Formby bit however may be true after spending 3 days opposite the Maughn amplifiers stand at the London Guitar Show
Too much jazz blues has gotten through our system and distorted our perspective. (NOT)
:guitar4: Hi guys as it goes i Loved the Sykes era of Thin Lizzy Great sound good player should have done more than he did. 8) how about an L.A metal sound P/U ? :D

John's still out there doing it and sounding as awesome as ever!

Well, I like the T-Shirt at least!  :D Mindcrime... what an album.

Sooo... it looks like I will now have to purchase a set of 'Cold Sweat' when they arrive to add that extra air of authenticity to my rendition of 'Still of the Night'?. Also loved his tone on the Blue Murder albums. But really, did he need to write a song devoted to Pharoah's?!
