That is certainly more my speed, I think. Maybe a little more fizz and presence than ideal for me but I like the general vibe of it quite a bit. On the aggression scale the painkiller is slightly below that, and the CBomb another step down again?

Interesting, I personally don't think of the Ragnarok as having a fizzy character (to me that's much more to do with the amp and cab/mic'ing), but you feel it's not for you, I think you should probably be looking at the ceramic Nailbomb. Compared to the Ragnarok, the Painkiller is significantly more focussed in the upper midrange and also has more low end. The ceramic Nailbomb is going to have less top end and more lower midrange push than the Ragnarok will. Frankly though I think if you tried the Ragnarok in your own guitar through your rig you'd be smitten, given what you've told us.
