Should I try something more bright? (sound examples)

Hey guys! I dropped here 3 examples with 3 different sets in my ash rgr652: Silo with covers, C-bombs without covers and Unity with covers. I used the same NDSP Nolly preset for each and seems like my guitar just sounds dark with a lot of low end.
I can get a nice sound from this with a few eq moves, but probably it will be better to try Painkiller or Aftermath or smth else for more tight, biting and bright tone without eq? Usually I play modern metal things, not sure I need just the djent tone but it would be nice to get well balanced percussive sound without muddy lows. 
Btw I like C-bombs output of this 3 examples.

Do you know what resistance value you are running on your volume pot? Switching out to the BKP 550k pots should give you a bit more crisp brightness with any set, if your standard pots are on the low side.

Hey, thank you for your answer! Now I use just the BKP 550k volume pot, Silo and Unity were recorded with it. I usually keep pickups at 1-1.5 mm from screws to strings and 2.5-3mm from cover to strings, so it seems like it's the maximum possible brightness for my guitar.

That's pretty close to the strings; I would definitely have a play with running the pickups a little bit lower and you might well get a bit more clarity
