Pup set identification trouble
« on: September 20, 2007, 01:56:19 AM »
Hi Tim !
I'd like to identify a set of BKP-90: a friend think he bought a set of BKP 90, but in fact the squares "91" and "92" are notched on the box.
Moreover, I notice the neck pup has more gain indeed than the bridge pup.
So I suspect my friend bought a "special" set with BKP92 for the neck and BKP91 for the bridge.
What do you think ?
Thks and keep rockin'

I think the neck is probably supposed to be in the bridge.

Are they set right?

If you fret at the 22nd (or highest fret) each pup should be about 2mm from the string.

You could lower the neck a little more if it's too loud...
