Black pole pieces and slugs

In the gallery, i see you can add both onto a humbucker.

i was wondering if there is any upcharge for having a black open poled miracle man with black slugs and black pole pieces.

and if it's possible to say when silk screening will be available, cos i'd like the bucker to have a small BKP logo in silver on the lower right (like where the dimarzio ones have the logo)


i'm asking, cos i gave Laz the go on the guitar and i'd like to have this sorted before he starts the assembly (still at least a month and a half away, but better safe than sorry they say)

There is no extra charge for black pole pieces and slugs.
We don’t plan on having silk screen printing on our pickups, we prefer the appearance plain. We've already been accused of copying SD and don’t want to give them something else to complain about!

What and Mr Duncan did not like, copy Leo Fender or Seth Lover or Adolf Rickenbacker or Orville Gibson (ok not Orville Gibson) or whatever, I mean some people............

hwhw. i learned my lesson before..

once i ordered something, thought it'll be like i wanted, got something diferent
the 2nd time i ordered like i wanted and the upcharge was almost 75% of what i paid...

so i ask 1st and order later now.. something i should have done earlier on a lot of things lol

No, because the poles on single coils are actually magnetic rod!

You can’t put metal covers on single coils, it would short them out. And you shouldn't really put any kind of coating on the magnets because it would have a negative effect the magnetic field.

You would get the same appearance with a black plastic cover and normal pole pieces.
