Warpig-7 + MXR Dime Distortion short clip
« on: October 23, 2007, 04:05:24 PM »
my friend used a cheap Ibanez RG7321 with custom brazilian mahogany body and alnico Warpigs
it's just a MXR Dime Distortion pedal into a cr@ppy Peavey Rage 158 (15w solid state, 8" speaker), cheap PC mic

soon he'll record another clip with the Painkiller that replaced the Warpig
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat

he was missing the tight edge and midrange push of his other guitar with gibson 500t
believe me, the guitar got even more brutal with the painkiller
sounded very close to the 500t, but a lot clearer, quieter and the bass is more concise, without that mud that comes from the palm mutes on gibson 500t and duncan distortion
