This page lists all their Edwards stuff (I think), it's in Japanese but if you click on the individual items there are some details in English.  They can get hold of other models which aren't necessarily listed.

Then the "In English" link at the top right of the page takes you to the page with the English email address.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Honestly Tom, Ishibashi isn't dodgy at all.  Yes, their site is hard to understand but - stating the obvious - it's Japanese   .

If you want to buy something - even if you can't find it on the site - the thing to do is to click on the "English" link and send them an email.  They'll get back to you with a price, a shipping quote and a link for making a secure credit card payment (they don't charge the card until the item ships).

The staff speak (or write!) very good English, keep you informed about progress of your order and you deal with the same person throughout the process (I'm sure all the lady assistants are incredibly cute too, but that may be my imagination running away with itself  ).  They're 10 times better than most UK music shops I've dealt with.

+1, ishibashi are great. I feel safer buying from them than most UK-based online websites.

I find Les Pauls can be a bit bright sometimes.  A full chunky mahogany body should be SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH......

Gibson also made an all mahagony les paul in week 33 (guitar of the week series), i tried it a few weeks ago and it was really nice, its now offered at a discount price( about 1000 english pounds), tempting tempting.

A mahagony top really smoothens things out i agree, but its still alot of cash allthough the resale value will probably be way better then an edwards i suppose.

Just picked up my Jimmy Page Edwards. First impression after tuning up and having a go for about 20 minutes: Awesome!!!! And it is so light !!!!! Gotta go to rehearsal now, will write a more detailed review.

I guess it will get BKPs, at least in the bridge, but let's give those Duncans a try first, then I can still decide.
