Ok, so I'm new here, but I'm anxious to post

I present to you Pink Floyd's 'Shine on you Crazy Diamond'

I'm using (besides a camera with a dodgy microphone):

a) Line 6 Spider III VALVE 112; SHINEON PINK setting

b) Mexican Fender Stratocastor, fitted with Bare Knuckle Apache single coil pick-ups

And here it is

Pitty the guitarist wasn't any better

Thanks Hunter, would it surprise you to know that I've been playing a total of 11 months? Anyways, if you enjoyed 'Shine On', then look forward to the following floyd oriented numbers:

Time
Money
Comfortably Numb
Castellorizon
and a few others:

Parisienne Walkways
Whispering a Prayer

and others. Go check out my (other) YouTube account, serch 'cdgw', 'guitar' and 'Parisienne Walkways'

Many thanks again ^__^

Wow, 11 months? You're a natural then. Don't mess with your talent and make sure you let yourself develop further. The danger is that you reach a level of playing you're satisfied with and don't bother expanding those abilities.

Sorry to be patronising, it's just that I was quite good in short time too, but I let it slip a bit and lost many many years in which i could have learned lots more than I am able to today.

Hey those Apaches sound sweet! Reminds me that I wanted to get a set for my Tokai Strat too. Just not sure if they're hot enough. But then I can always boost them if I need more oomph, right?

Are you happy with that Spider Valve? I'm sure it's a tempting little amp to many people...

You have to remember to put the pickup name in the subject  :)

@Hunter: Thanks for the advice, now, here's a little story! From January - Mid-July, early August, I was teaching myself, until the guys in the local music store refused to sell me anything other than strings unless I got lessons! So, now I have lessons...yea

Secondly, yea, I'm am very much pleased with this amp, it does such an amazing job, but it's mainly a gigging amp, I have a pedalboard and little amp that I use for 'studio recordings', I would recommend the amp to anyone, that and Apaches, definately Apaches. The main reason I got it was because I went to a few jam sessions at one of the local pubs, and all the old guys were laughing and taking the piss at the size of my pedalboard. It has 14 different pedals on it, so...yea, I got the amp to save piss-taking, and I am pleased with it so far. The comfnumb setting is sweet once you take the chorus/flanger out of it!

@Samoth2: I'm such a newbie ^__^;; Thanks for the heads-up

woah ... in 11 months total playing you have amassed 14 pedals?! didnt they just stop selling you stuff cos there was nothing left to buy?

Sorry, just joshing (me being one of those olders guys like!)

Good playing, decent sound, and nice to see some single coil action, welcome to the board.

Many thanks ^__^ I still need to develop a real tone, right now, I'm just playing with loads of distortion, and I don't really want to be aa good player because I turn the dstortion up

Just don't play too much and get tendonitis, it's a real bummer!

Really good playing there, especially for 11 months! Look forward to more stuff.
