hit me up summin

Hey! first time here...can i have some help please?

this is another "can you reccomend me a bridge pickup for metal" thread im afraid to say. Its probably been answered enough times for me to go look but hey- im bored!

So heres the deal-
Guitar is Washburn X50 pro-
http://www.washburn.com/products/electrics/x/x50.aspx

its the one with duncans but mine has a spalt maple top, like this-

http://machinehead.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/21_49/products_id/652

-probably adds a bit of top end to the sound.

problem is im in C standard tuning, bangin' out some death/thrashy metal riffage and everything comes out pretty "mushy". no real definition- lacking that "tightness" i guess.

Being an all mahogany set neck, its quite bassy at the mo' so i dont need a pickup with massve bass. just a well defined, focused sound. nice and balanced. i know this sounds lazy but if it helps me with pinch harmonics that would be good too.
i dont really care for what it sounds like on clean !
some of the bands i like playing are- strapping young lad,  decapitated, sikth, god forbid, killswitch engage...any modern metal pretty much.
so what would you gurus reccomend me?

OOOOOOOoooo only 50-odd days to christmas!!!!

not exactly helping with pickup sales, and very possibly you've already dealt with this, but what guage strings are you using?  it might help to simply put on heavier strings when you're tuned so low.
cry HAVOC!! and let slip the pigs of war!!!

ive got 11s on. i use 10s for D standard. 9s for E

Tensions seems roughly similar throughout so i dont think gauge is a problem.

if i went to 12's i dont think my hands would like it!

Ceramic Warpig sounds good but is that gonna be an overload of bass? its really quite bassy already...

Lots of bass. No mud. Extremely clear pickup. Amazing for detuning. I play in drop B with one.
