it looks terrifying. what could possibly warrant that many knobs!?
I don't understand why rectos need so many knobs - they only really do one sound... why not just have one knob?

It'd have to go up to 11, of course...

You've been terribly misinformed. You can dial in different settings for each channel.... etc.. just read this

The only really cr@ppy part is that over in your neck of the woods they're very expensive. Taxes and whatnot really drive the price up it. They can be intimidating with all the settings and whatnot you can tweak.

Rectifiers do more than that one sound - it's more the type of players who all rush and buy rectos that are too blame - they only use it for one sound (and play downtuned)

Just saw Y&T/Tigertailz last night and Dave Meniketti uses a Dual Tremoverb or a hired/borrowed Dual Rec and gets wonderful Marshall like tone out of it - but with that something extra thrown in
Really very nice!

Yeah - was fun to see TT again - have followed them since 1986

It was great to see that a friend of mine (Glenn Quinn) who I used to guitar tech for was playing bass for them filling in for the sadly departed Pepsi Tate

I never did get around to listening to Y & T back in the day. I'll have to grab a couple of those sometime.

A friend of mine has an Meas F-50 and runs it through a marshall 4x12 cab. Sounds absolutely amazing.

Try Earthshaker/Black Tiger/Meanstreak/Ten
All great albums

Here is a slightly dodgy CAmeraphone clip from earlier this year
Doesn't do justice to the great sound he has live

a tweaker's delight-expensive to re-tube, thats for sure-it doesnt capture the lead tone of the MKIIC+, but offers flexibility, no doubt..a killer amp
-look for the Mark V early next year... 8)
