Safe to say you guys don't count REM as one of your influences! Good stuff, reminded me of Nile in places, similar kind of density to the sound.

I liked it.  "Forced to kneel" in particular reminded me of Morbid Angel - that crawling, dragging, lurching kinda feel (that's a compliment BTW - I consider MA to be one of the top 3 or 4 ever DM bands & the finest live band ever to draw breath).

So much death metal seems to just go through the motions (too many bands with no idea really killed DM in the mid-90s), but this has real power & menace to it.
