WOW! I am in love with the tone of the cornford amp.  stunning, and phenomenal playing i must say... that dissonance on the first clip is godly, and it comes out sooooo well with your equipment  :D   The soundclick clip is beautiful, just beautiful.
BKPz: Nailbomb+VHII, more to come...

Great clips, the MK50 being my favourite. By the way what sort of volume was the amp on when you recorded?

I went through your soundclick stuff and found those Mako Dorado clips. Those sound really fantastic. Do you still have that amp? Could you do some BKP recordings with it?

Haha, I only have one amp right now. My Marshall Super Lead modded by Mark Cameron. But i've owned everything.....really.... but not all at the same time. One or two here and there, buying, selling, trading, etc, etc.

The Mako was cool for what it did, but it was a one trick pony for sure. I mean, I had one setting and if i changed anything, it just didn't sound good. When I had it dialed in, it killed! but, like i said, it did that one sound, and that was it. For some people it might be great though.

That was awesome, only listened to the first one for the moment. It has the right amount of gain saturation, compression... and some amazing playing too
note to self, get some RY's.... then a guitar to put them in

May I ask of you're recording set up?

Thanks man. My recording setup is very simple and cheap. I have an SM57 and E609 mics into an Alessis Multimix 8 USB ($150 new), USB cable into my PC using Cakewalk Music Creator software. That's it. Very cheap and easy to use.

Awsome playing, alas i dont like any of these amps much, i also think its a shame you play with such a scooped metal sound, most of the excellent articulation is nullified by the gain, maybe try a really ballsy kind of metal sound with plenty sustain? You marshall super lead will surely handle that.

IMHO its not all about what sounds best(one trick pony collection syndrome), but more about what will express the most within some style parameters. Versatility and dynamics are such wonderfull qualities.

PS Im just thinking out loud, nothing more.

Ow, and which clip is with the nailbomb neck pickup?
Mules in '76 Gibson custom with maple neck.

That would be this clip, which I didn't post because I think it sucks, but here you go.

JB whats up man good to see u hear. Love the elmwood has kind of the squish on notes. Like Ecstacy but more defined. NOt as piercing as cornford.

How do u find the RY to the JB? Tried the Aldrich pup yet?
