oh my god, lol. What happenned?
Lets be honest - the EasyJet staff member was blatantly a chav at work...
Heh,
work sent me up to Glasgow (from London) and I didn't have a passport with me, and they refused to accept my NI driving license (it's a full UK license, but it was one of the photo ID ones (NI had them long before England, Wales & Scotland).
Anyway I was told my ID was invalid, and I couldn't have my ticket :( not only that she also stated that it was illegal for me to board a plane (or ineed travel) in the UK without a passport !
After pointing out to her that infact there was no legal obligation and that it was simplay an Easyjet policy she started to get unpleasent and stated that a foreign national must have a passport with them at all times !
Anyway after arguing with her for several minutes (and guessing I wasn't getting onto the plane) I asked if she had her passport with her. She was rather confused about this question, and asked why. at which point I informed her that she must be from Stupidland and that she really ought to return and lead her home country back into the dark ages.
At that point 2 of her coworkers ran behind the partition sniggering (at her I hope). A few minutes a copule of (supposidly male) Oompa-Loompas (see note for non UK readers) turned up and removed me from the airport.
Anyway my boss wasn't pleased, when I arrived into Canary Wharf instead of the Glasgow offive
* Theyre known as Oompa-Loompas cos the Sleasyjet company colour is orange, and in addition they suffer from the worst permatans known.
