this is a random clip recorded with my a miracle man loaded guitar through a randall rg200, its just a simple lead part thats meant to show a lead tone..  no fancy playing im afraid

No offence but I didnt really like that tone atall, it was really thin  :o

none taken, i dont think anyone likes my tone but me :-), ive heard it described as a cheesegrater sound.... but stuff it i like it.

Thats the important thing,as long as you like your sound  everyone else's opinion does'nt really matter,good stuff!!

Nothings as bad as the tone on that Anthrax clip I posted last month :lol:

If you love it and it works for you then that's all that matters. In a band context, it would take the edge off it a touch so its less razor sharp.

Although its nearly completely the opposite of what i play, I quite liked it as an an interesting alternative, i reckon with  a more bassy rythme, it would have sound quite cool.
Im sorry to be persistant...but I'm on a mission to build the most badass guitar of all time.

hehe fair enough! Its more a "50cc moped" sound than a Cheesegrater though :lol:

if anyones familiar with the rg200 then theyl probably know its a pretty hi gain amp, i find it hard to record with it and not get a very trebly recording. im gonna try and take of the treble and come up with an eric clapton sound, not a 50cc moped or a wasp in a jar sound.

heres another clip of a me playing over a pentatonic jam track, toned the sound down a bit, still trebly though,

Oya, I perfer the second sound clip better. Not as peircing on the ears. Good work on the lead/ rythem section.
