Mildly amusing...

I was on a "Xmas drinks do gone wrong" last night and along with a few other stragglers, I ended up at a less salubrious Shoreditch gentlemans venue.

Now normally ladies of the stripping variety choose their own backing tracks and invariably these are usually RnB/dance type songs.

So imagine my slight bewilderment / excitement, when a rather busty young lady with pierced privates started dancing to "From Whom The Bell Tolls" from Ride the Lightning by the almighty 'tallica.

I've been humming it all day...

I heard it on the radio on the drive in today. Although I am mostly a Blues player, my early days saw me playing metal.

Plenty of banging on the steering wheel happened.

Where did you go Ted, Browns?   Me and a few mates went to go in there a few years back but they wouldn't let us in as we had site boots on, so we went to The Spread Eagle over the road. It was the armpit of the world! Appropriate name though.

Sorry yes this was the White Horse on Shoreditch High St, there's some excellent bars around there too like Light Bar, Funky Monkey (I think) and Cargo, so you don't have to stay in this sleazy joint all evening... Not sure where Browns is - i've not been there yet...
