Not as bad as my friend who insisted her husband has an 'ib-an-ay' guitar, whilst i am aware that may be closer to the original spanish its just not what the guitars are called!!!

That's nowhere near the original spanish lol - it would be pronounced Ib-an-ef in spanish...

What the hell is she on? xD

Ib-an-ef or I-ban-ef, it's the same pronounciation :p

Edit: Just realised the difference in I and Ib, I as in pronouncing it how you would the letter is deffinetly not spanish, it would be more Ee-ban-ef.

Didn't realise the differentiation since I pronounce it Ee-ban-ez anyway.

Hmm the two volume pots might not work, I have a 4 way switch set up on my tele... I'll see what I can do.

not used a 4 way switch yet but i dont think that matters.  Send the output from the volumes to the switch instead of the hot from the pickups

Think I'll leave it until I find a diagram, been playing with my tele's wiring so much and I have no idea how switches actually work in a guitar.

Here is the 4 way tele schematic:

http://guitarelectronics.zoovy.com/product/WDUSS4L1101

You can just wire both pots trough the switch maybe(hot neck, hot bridge) and put the volume pots directly on the jack folowing the same path as the 1 volume/ 1 tone wiring but just leaving the tone pot out.

I just have it wired like a Les Paul, leaving the tonepots out the schematic.
