Hatton vs. Mayweather

Ok whose watching it, and who do we think is gonna win?

My head says Mayweather. He's just so damn fast and accurate; scarily so.

But of course my heart says Ricky. As a lot of others have said, he needs to stay close to Floyd and box toe-to-toe. Really try and punish him before Ricky starts to cut badly.

What do we think guys?

I'm going to go for Hatton to stop Mayweather.

I've followed Hatton's progress for a long time and have watched boxing for years.

I've never seen anyone who can cause so much damage with body shots, as Hatton does. No one that Hatton has fought, so far, has been able to stand up to his body shots.

I don't think Mayweather will be any different.

I'm going for Hatton to win in the 7th round.

Interesting you say that mate.

It was a mammoth against Castillo.

Hatton just keeps coming that's the thing. Admittedly I haven't seen a great deal of his fights but he just keeps coming back for more in those that I have.

I think if he does get up in Floyd's face, Mayweather isn't gonna enjoy having absolutely zero respite. Not one bit.

The main thing that gives me comfort is that Oscar De La Hoya (in my opinion) did very well against Mayweather. In the first 6 or so rounds at least, he made Floyd look average, but then ran out of stamina.

We shall see!!!

I am gigging tonight and so I doubt whether I shall get to see it but if I was not, I'd be watching for sure.

Oh cool Dave, no we shall all be done by 12.30 and home by about 1.30 so that is a result. I am calling a mate in USA when I get home and by the time we have finished talking I should get to the fight-turning into a good weekend weather notwithstanding.

I don't have Sky and I'm not listening on the radio, so I'll just have to see the result in the morning.  :(

Not making any predictions, but I'd love to see Hatton beat that arrogant tw@t.  He'll need a stoppage, he won't be getting a points win fighting an American in the USA.

Stayed up to listen on the radio.

Basically he never really did much damage to Mayweather at all.

I watched it live with my mates, Hatton got knocked the $%&# out lol i had a feeling Mayweather would win that's why i placed a bet on Mayweather, though i still wanted Hatton to win, but he just couldn't hurt Floyd.

Referee has a SHOCKER though, he took a point off Hatton even though he didn't hit Floyd in the back of the head though the ref thought he did.
Mayweather kept ducking too low and then tieing up Hatton and commentators thought that should be a point off Floyd, but seriosuly with a ref like Joe Cortez you would have thought he would let Hatton fight the way he does on the inside, but everytime that happened he broke it up it was happening all the time despite saying before the fight to Hatton's camp that he would let that happen.

All in all it was a cr@p night/morning for British boxing haha.
