Cold Sweat Neck - Oh so nice..
« on: December 09, 2007, 04:40:59 PM »
Ok so i laid down this lydian chord thing and had a widdle for 5 mins and then hit record. Its sloppy i know but i quite like the tone.

Its a cold sweat neck in my ibanez s520ex into a damage control demonizer then into a boss dd20 and then direct into my soundcard. Used a cr@p edition of cubasis vst to record and pan and thats it.

cleans are with split coils and a subtle chorused delay.

leads are full humbuckerr with a smooth reverb-like delay.

 :)

hope you like.

Very nice tone indeed  8)  Sounds quite good for a soundcard.

Thanks and yeah it's a nice soundcard, but I think its mostly just the Demonizer's 2 tubes doing the hard work.

Great tone! You can tell why shredders love this pickup. Sounds very open and vocal too.

Cool, I could imagine playing nice fluidy jazzy Steely Dan type stuff with that tone.
