yeah ive got the 2 warpigs and triligy suite in the old RG, sounds really nice! although im not overly keen on positions 2 and 4 at the mo!! ill get it sorted! BUT I wasnt sure what pig was the bridge and neck one (dumb i know) please tell me the B on the back of one of them stood for bridge? and the neck Pig.....wont stay flat when the scratch plate is screwed down (its flat when the plate is out) i mean the side closer to the bridge sticks out a bit closer to the strings, i cant find out why, the tech gave it back to me like this, it sounds fine, but could it be better? cheers if anyone can help!

There is usually a red dot on the bridge pickup, I never had letters on mine (mind you the last set were different colours anyway, which makes it easy). If you are spliting the Warpig coils for positions 2 & 4, you need to check that the right coils are matched. If you got a RWRP Trilogy then you should be using the screw coils. If it is not RWRP, then the slugs will give hum cancelling.

yeah i checked what coils are on in 2 and 4 (by touching them with screwdriver when there on)...its the whole humbucker and single coil, hence cr@p clean sound. Ill need to take it back to the tech....oh joy! as for the squint neck pig? any ideas?

If it sits flat when out of the guitar, check that the wire is not pushing it up. Either that or it might be catching on the body. It can also be the wires going into the controls that do it too, if there isn't enough clearance.

theres enough clearance, i can see the problem is that when i screw the scratch plate in, im pushing the Pig into the neck and its pushing it up, i cant find out how to solve this! please help!

does it actually make any difference and if so, would it be just as good just to raise the allen bolts on the neck side of the pickup?

Is it the scratchplate moving towards the neck when you screw it in? If it is, try screwing the opposite side in first, this might stop it moving.

yeah it sits nice before i screw the scratch plate in, but I cant screw in any screws without moving it to its normal position, which pushes the pickup up.....thanks for this help and time btw!

It sounds like you need to plug and redrill the holes for the scratchplate. I don't know how your woodworkign skills are, but if you don't want to do it yourself, the tech who fitted the pickups should be able to do it.
