which PU with a warpig bridge?

I have a gibson SG with a warpig in bridge and I am thiking of replacing my gibson 490r with somethig else.

which pickup will be fine with the warpig? I m searching for a level matching and for nice clean on neck

M-Queen for that raw P90 sound, beautiful single-coil cleans.

And...

Cold Sweat for that very bell-like clean sound it can achieve (and its ability to be magnificent for high-gain lead solos too).

I love the pig with the cold sweat. Its the metal combo of kings. Crushing rhythm and searing leads, and bell-cleans and liquid shred.

Replace the potentiometers first (you'll have to anyway if you get a new pickup). I did that and it gave my 490 a whole new dimensiom of life and dynamics. I now have a 500Kohm for volume and a 1Megohm for tone on that SG.
It blends great with my Miracle Man in the bridge.

I already replace the pots with CTS...the 490 sounds well but I want to try something else

Call me weird but I've actually just installed a Gibson Tony Iommi in the neck position of my Gibson SG (AV Warpig bridge), replacing the stock 490R. Sonically, it's working out quite a bit better than I expected, and thematically, of course, it's just perfect! It's a tad brighter than your average  neck PU, but that's alright, because SG neck pickups tend to sound mushy otherwise. It sustains beautifully, and its tone seems warmer and fuller in the neck position than in the bridge position where it tended to sound somewhat dull and colorless. It's got a DC resistance of 17.2k and it can (just barely) keep up with the bridge 21.5k AV Warpig! :D (The Iommi isn't actually quite as hot as the DC resistance implies, probably due to the use of Alnico II along with the ceramics.)

But as I said, it's a very good match both sonically and thematically. It rounds up the "metal SG" concept pretty nicely, and all 3 positions are extremely usable, from beautiful cleans to full distortion in all positions. Aside from the obvious BKP alternatives, that is something to consider. For BKP, I would probably just get a neck version of the 'pig, or maybe something to give me an Yngwie-like lead sound (or an approximation thereof) in a humbucker-sized package - MQ, perhaps?

I would love to indulge you; sadly, I don't currently have any home recording gear - my Marshall is way too loud to record at home.  :(
(And you really need to play through a full tube amp to get an idea what it really sounds like.)

Did happen though, here's a photo of the said SG, with a magnification of the pickup area. The Warpig is the open coil version (notice two screw coils), and the Iommi is actually the chrome version even though it looks rather black in the photo due to lighting / camera flash.
